КЕЛЛИ (Kelley)Дэвид [1.04.1924, Албани — 19.05.2011], амер. археолог и эпиграфист, известный своими работами по фонетическому анализу и вкладу в процесс дешифровки письменности майя. Был одним из сторонников теории Ю.В. Кнорозова о фонетической и силлабической природе майяского письма. В 1962 году пишет статью «Фонетизм в письменности майя», в которой предоставляет важные данные фонетической интерпретации иероглифов майя. Помимо эпиграфики, в научные интересы К. входила археоастрономия, в частности — применение археоастрономических данных к проблеме корреляции календаря майя.
